Employee At PetSmart Has A Hard Time Saying Goodbye To An Adopted Pet Mouse, Leading To The Most Wholesome And Funny Interaction

When working with animals, getting attached is always something that you have to consider. If you're anything like us, then the chances of you getting attached are quite high. And it seems that a lot of people really are like us. That's why so many pets go from strays to stays, why so many people foster-fail so easily, why we, as much as we would want to work with animals, ended up working here, writing about animals instead. Because we would get attached. Instantly.

Just like this employee at PetSmart did. We would end up having hilarious yet adorable interactions like these with each and every person who came to adopt any pet under our care. But yeah, at least it's hilarious and adorable in a positive way. It shows how much these employees care about their animals, and we love that.

Not going to lie… we would probably get emotional too. For real, we get attached to pigeons that sit on our windowsills for more than 60 seconds. We take pictures, we coo and aww at them. At a pet store? We would stand no chance. We would be reacting like this over every single adoption probably.

It doesn't really matter, even if she thought this mouse was going to go to the best, most loving home, she probably would have reacted like this all the same. We say that because… once again, we get attached to any and every animal that we interact with for more than three seconds straight.
